“It was cloudy and they canceled the tour. They gave us the option to get a refund or attend another night. The next night was cloudy as well and we had to leave the area the following day. They refunded us promptly. They can’t control the weather, but they are certainly honest and accommodating. Despite being cloudy, the guide probably could have tried a bit harder to make the most out of the experience - we could still see some stars and even saw some shooting stars for the few minutes we were there before she put us back on the bus. “Lamentablemente nos toco muy nublado por lo que no pudimos ver casi nada y nos quedamos con las ganas de ver el cielo estrellado. Si bien es una condición climática que la agencia no puede controlar, si pienso que debieron advertirla. Esto es sabido por los lugareños; que durante Enero, Febrero y Marzo hay lluvias altiplanicas (por lo que yo aconsejo no entusiasmarse si vas en estas fechas a San pedro) . The most notable strengths of this tour (compared to the others) were the number and quality of the telescopes, the quality of the photographs, and the organization/execution/flow of the experience. Other experiences had slightly more things to view or slightly better snacks/beverages, but those probably aren't as important to most guests. If you can only do 1 astro tour, this one's a safe choice.”
